Julie Bradshaw is a natural born storyteller with a rare gift. She is gifted with that rare ability to transport her audience to another time and place, simply with her own voice.
At her first "Open Mic" performance at the St. Simons Storytelling Festival, she captivated not only the large audience, but several Nationally Ranked Storytellers as well. Since that time, encouraged by their praise and supportive comments, Julie has gone on to refine her skills at such venues as the Stone Soup Storytelling Festival (where she won 2nd place in the Open Mic Competition, 3rd place in the Liars’ Contest and then was invited to be a New Voice), the Women’s Storytelling Festival, the Florida Storytelling Festival, Six Feet Apart Productions, and Better Said than Done.
With a wide range of stories in her repertoire - including unique personal stories, originally crafted folk and fairy tales, hilarious tall tales, hauntingly scary stories, and gripping historical biographies - she has been honored to be selected as a Featured Teller at both the Stone Soup Storytelling Festival and the Hagood Mill Storytelling Festival.
Although she grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, Julie's love for the Deep South led her to South Carolina, where she met her husband and the world of storytelling.
